Artist Profile: Phil Scheuer
Illustrator-designer Phil Scheuer has been creating user-friendly illustration, maps and infographics for over a decade, creating a long list of very satisfied clients. He has worked with clients as diverse as IBM, Blue Cross, Reader's Digest, Workman Publishing and Newsweek Magazine as well as educational publishers such as Scholastic, Harcourt and others. Some of his work can be seen as murals in several New York City public schools. Phil has created logos and icons for AAA's travel magazines, TV chef Mr. Food and the National Chicken Council. Recent projects include maps and graphics for the University of Texas Marine Science Institute and Mystic Aquarium's educational programs with Titanic discoverer Dr. Robert Ballard. Among his book projects are the perennial "How to Kazoo", "Science Fair Success Secrets", and most recently, (National Lampoon founder) Henry Beard's "Murphy's Laws of Golf" and "Murphy's Laws of Fishing".
